Biography

Edwin Gordon was born in Indiana in 1839, the fifth of 11 children of John Gordon and Eliza (Dennis) Gordon. He married Isabella A Gorner in 1859. They had one daughter, Mary, in 1862. Edwin has a Military record of serving in the Civil War, and died (from illness?) the following year in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana at age 24. He is buried in Fairview Cemetery New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana.
