Biography
Ignatius Gould was born in Knockraha, County Cork, Ireland. He was the eldest son and heir of Garrett Gould of Knockraha.[1][2]
In 1701, he married Amy Barrett in County Cork, daughter of John Barrett of Rahan, Killavullen, County Cork.[3][4]
Ignatius and Amy had at least the following children:[5]

- 2. Barrett Gould m Grace Sarsfield
- 3. John
- 4. George
- 1. Amy m David Connell/ O'Connell[6]
- 2. Elizabeth m _ Stritch

Ignatius died in 1732 in Knockraha. His estate passed to his eldest son, Garrett.
