Austin Gould was born 5 Jun 1823 in Woolwich, Lincoln (now Sagadahoc), Maine. He is the son of John Gouch Gould and Elizabeth "Betsey" (Hathorn) Gould.^[1] Austin married 1st Mary Anna Gahan 7 Apr 1850 in Woolwich, Lincoln, Maine.^[2] Mary passed away 10 Jan 1854. Austin married 2nd Martha A. Lilly (daughter of George W. Lilly and Rebecca (White) Lilly) 31 Oct 1854 in Wiscasset, Lincoln, Maine.^[3][4] Martha passed away 22 May 1907 in Dover, New Hampshire.^[5] Austin passed away 3 May 1893 in Lisbon Falls, Androscoggin, Maine.^[6]
