Jacob was born 6 February 1729, in Boxford, Massachusetts.. He is the son of John Gould and Phebe Towne. [1]
On 9 October 1751, Jacob married Elisabeth (Towne) Gould (1732-) in Topsfield, Massachusetts.[2]
