Biography
Joseph was born on June 15,1840 in Saint-Jacques-de-l’Achigan, the son of Gideon Goulet and Marie Lanoue. [1]
He married Julie Rivet at Saint-Theodore-de-Chertsey, Montcalm, on October 16 1864. [2] Together, they had the following (known) children:
- Marie Louise Goulet, n. 24 May 1867
- Melina Goulet, n. 31 Aug 1869, married Pierre Morin in 1887
- Celina Goulet, n. 24 June 1872
- Gedeon Goulet, n. ~1874
- Joseph Emile Goulet, n. ~1876, who married Alméria Morin in 1900 at Chertsey, Montcalm
- Lumena Goulet, n. 6 Jan 1878, who married Sinai Lepine
- Joseph Theodore Goulet, n. 17 Aug 1884
- Julie Goulet, n. 29 Sept 1887
- Exilda Goulet, n. ~1890, d. Before 1901 census
- Orida/Ovida Goulet, n. 19 Dec 1891, who married Gustave Roy in 1910.
He passed away on Jan 1st, 1922 [3], and was buried 2 days later in St-Jacques-de-l'Achigan Cemetery. [4]
