Willie May (Govan) Minor is a part of US Black heritage.

Willie May Govan was born in about 1916 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Spencer Govan and Martha (Lambert) Govan.[1][2]

In the 1920 census "May Willie" (age 4 and 3 months) was living in Fayette, Tennessee, USA. Marital Status: Single. Relation to Head of House: Daughter.[2]

In the 1930 census "May W" (age about 14) was living in Fayette, Tennessee. She was the only child in the house with her parents.[3]

She married Robert Minor around 1931. They had children Leon Minor (1932-1974) and Juanita Minor (1934-1999).
