William W. Graham married Ellen F. Henry on 11 September 1860 in the home of Lewis Sullivan in Franklin, Kentucky. William was 27, b. 1833 in Franklin, KY. Ellen was 20, b. 1840 in Warren, KY. Her mother was Sarah C. Sullivan. A. R. Macy, minister of the Baptist Church officiated. [1] [2]
In 1870, the Graham family lived in Peaks Mill, Franklin, Kentucky. The household included William W. Graham, 40, a miller, with $1000 in real estate and $1000 in personal estate; his wife Ellen, 30; their three children, George G., 7; Henry, 5; and Juliet, 1; Richard Taylor, 17, who worked in the saw mill; and Mary Taylor, 16, a cook. All were born in Kentucky. [3]
In 1880, the Graham family lived in Chrisman, Edgar County, Illinois. The household included William W. Graham, 49, a lumber merchant, whose parents were b. KY; his wife Ellen, 40; their five children, Graham G. Graham, 16, in school; Harry M.; 14, in school; Juliette W., 11, in school; Nellie N., 5; and Robert H., 2. Also living with them was a servant, Thomas Dixon, 19. All were born in Kentucky. [4]
