Biography
John was born in 1865. He is the son of Josiah Pryor Grammer and Rebecca Bond.
In 1870, John, age 5, is living with his father, "James" and stepmother, Mary in Liberty Township, Bollinger County, Missouri, USA. Also living with them are John's brother, George and his half-sister, Matilda.[1]
John married Frances "Fannie" Eugenia Preuit in 1886 or 1887. John and Fannie had the following children:
- Ida Grammer
- Margaret Grammer
- Elmer E. Grammer b. abt. 1897 TX
In 1889, J. F. Grammer is listed on the tax roll in Bell County, Texas.[2]
Their marriage ended in divorce.
