Biography
Lansing Grant, born 27 May 1823 at Norfolk, Connecticut, was the fifth child of Harvey Grant and Experience Norton.
He married 28 Dec 1848 at Green Lake, Wisconsin, Elma Mehetabel Gleason [b. 5 Oct 1832 @ Oswegatchie, New York, daughter of Nathan Gleason & Mehetabel Jaquith]. They resided at Independence, Kansas, where Lansing Grant was engaged with agriculture.
