THEODORE GRAVES, born 25 October 1800, Sunderland, Franklin County, Massachusetts;[1] died 4 [his tombstone has 3] August 1868, Sidney, Delaware County, New York, aged 68 years; buried Pioneer Cemetery, Sidney.[2]

He married (1) 18 April 1827, MARY ANN FOSDICK, born 20 April 1806, died 27 April 1838, Sunderland, daughter of James and Achsah F. (Graves) Fosdick; she was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Sunderland.[3] Theodore married (2) 3 February 1839, his first cousin, ELIZA M. GRAVES, born 23 November 1804, Canaan, Columbia County, New York, died 20 March 1857, Sidney, New York; buried Pioneer Cemetery, aged 52 years 3 months, and 27 days,[4] daughter of Levi and Pamelia (Arms) Graves.

In 1850, Theodore was a blacksmith in Adams, Massachusetts, with a large household, including three other blacksmiths. He removed from North Adams, Massachusetts, to Granville, New York, and in 1852 to Sidney.[5]
