Biography

Born c. 1810, London, England. He did not accompany his father and other [younger?] to Canada in 1827, but came later. (Alfred went to US).

Lot 19, conc 5, 20 ac.

m. Margaret Ritchie, a widow with two daughters. She died. 14 Dec 1884, age 66 (buried Mayfield Pres. Cemetery); no issue from this marriage

?? An educated man, newspaper reporter and clerk of the Twp. of Chniguacousy, 1873-1886.

?? Lived on 20 acres, lot 19, conc. 5. Married Mrs. Ritchie.

12 Jan 1844, Ching. E., con. 5, lot 19, 20 acres bought for 40 lbs.

Owned a theater in one of the West Indies [?]

Clerk of Chinguacousy, 1873-86

Died 82 years of age. Buried Mayfield Presbyterian Cemetery.
