Biography

William Gray was born in Monroe County Oct. 24, 1823. He married Carolina Sandifer in Monroe County Sept. 19, 1844. It is not known what happened to Caroline, but in 1850, William Gray is living in the household of his sister Sarah Gray Hollingsworth in Monroe County.
