Janet's parents were married before 1483 but although one can place her birth after that event, it is not certain how long before 1483. One also does not know when she married John Charteris, but she married David Wemyss no later than 1512 placing her first marriage before 1511 and her birth prior to 1499. Were ont to take the 'before 1483' date of her parents' marriage and estimate it as 'about 1480,' one could then approximate her birth as between 1481 and 1499 or approzimately 1490.
The crown of the Holy Roman Empire (2nd half of the 10th century), now held in the Vienna Schatzkammer. Janet Gray was a descendant of Charlemagne (Charles the Great), Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire (800-814), and wife Hildegard of VINZGAU.
Her third second husband is sometimes referred to as 'Alexander' in the SP article on GRAY[3] but 'William' in the article on KEITH[5] This error is addressed in the correction in Vol. 9.[4]

The profile for Elizabeth is PPP and I requested the change 5 months ago (see comments on Stewart-1611). I can at least disconnect from Janet. I will also shake the tree to get someone to add her to Elizabeth.
Death: Lovat, Invernessshire and Perth, Perthshire probably Lawers, Perthshire
Has Lovat crept into this from her younger half-sister Janet Gray Lady Lovat ?
