Biography

Nancy was born in 1833.^[1] She most likely passed away sometime between 1881 and 1891.^[2]

She married James Ashall in 1854.^[3] The couple had five children: Samuel, John, Edward, Alice, and William.^[4]

After her first husband died, she married Peter Russell in 1876.^[5] The couple had one child: James. Together, they also raised the younger children from Peter’s previous marriage, and the children from Nancy’s previous marriage.^[6]
