Hunterdon and Orange were the favorite counties of this class of immigrants....

[In 1769 the Moravian Brotherhood from Bethlehem, Pa., purchased 1500 acres of land from Samuel Green, who was the Deputy Surveyor.]

V: "Joshua Opdike laid before this board one survey of 140 acres by Samuel Green for said Joshua Opdike, situate in the County of Sussex, and is recorded in B. B. 212, 213, which appears on the East side of the true Quiotia[?] partite line run by John Lawrence – 73 acres of which he has since purchased an East Jersey proprietary right [to] and laid; therefore warrant to locate the same 140 acres elsewhere; and a warrant was granted accordingly."

Green-33730 and Green-8241 appear to represent the same person because: Please merge these two profiles. There are slight differences but are the same person. I'm surprised at the number of sources using the last name Opdyke. This is where the duplication arises vs. the other last name spellings. Thank you, Robert Green
