Alongzo L. Light, on March 9, 1878 at McLennan County, Texas. [1].
Joseph B. " Joe" Stacy, on November 8, 1891 at Grayson County, Texas. They had 4 children: James, John, Joe and Rena (Moon). Joe B. died 12 Jan 1900[2].
She married Lee Vines on August 28, 1901 in Hill County, Texas. They had 1 child: Lee (Whalen). Lee (husband) died 24 Oct 1908[3].
Lee Stacy, on May 19, 1910, at Hill County, Texas. Lee shot and killed her son "Little Joe" Stacy on 7 May 1914. He was imprisoned and she divorced him and resumed the surname Vines[4].
During her lifetime, Metallis, had several nicknames: Tally, Mattie, Pink, & Pinkney. She was fondly called "Aunt Pink" by family members.
Metallis lived a full, long life; she was quite a character.
