Biography
María was the daughter of Juan Griego II and Juana de la Cruz.[1] She was married to Diego López del Castillo, the widower of her first cousin María Barragan. He was a married man in 1680[2] but it is not certain if his wife was still María or if she had died previously and Diego remarried.
