Biography

OBITUARY: Eppie Griego passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the age of 51.

Eppie was preceded in death by his parents Pedro A. Griego (Tony) and Donelia M. Griego, maternal grandparents, Leopoldo Lujan, Felicita (Feliz) Lujan, paternal grandparents Amadeo Griego, Simona Medina Griego, sister-in-law Gloria Salazar, uncle Dennis Lujan and God father Joe M. Griego and Phillip Montoya.

Eppie is survived by his daughter Kyra Griego, Sisters Martha Garcia and husband Alvaro and Eileen Griego. Brother Leopoldo Salazar. His Nephew Henry Trujillo and wife Tiffany; Children: Riana, Alena, Celestino and Paul. His Nieces Denise Barela; child: Zephaniah, Kayla Anguiano and husband Victor Jr., children: AngelLeo, and Augustine. Esperanza Terrazas and husband Santiago; children: Elyanah, and Andres. Eppie was blessed with four Godchildren: Henry Trujillo, Esperanza Terrazas, Alena Trujillo, and Joaquin Montoya Jr., God mother Irene B. Griego and Martha Garcia, many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers are Leopoldo Salazar, Henry Trujillo, Larry Jacquez, Arturo Rivera, Herman Garcia, and Santiago Terrazas.

Honorary Pallbearers are Alvaro Garcia and Celestino Trujillo.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 06, 2023 starting with a public viewing at 10:30 am rosary at 11:00 am at San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, NM, with a Mass to follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow immediately at San Jose Catholic Cemetery.
