Research Note

Jacobus reported that this Hugh Griffin may be related to the early Hugh Griffin of Sudbury Mass. [Griffin-1626],[4] who died there 27 June 1656,[5] though no further connection between the two has ever been published, and they are considered unrelated or not closely related. The will of the Sudbury Hugh Griffin does not mention any son Hugh.[6]
