Biography

Hannah Griffeth was born at Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts), on 10 Apr 1803, the daughter of John Griffeth and Mary (Boyden) Griffeth.^[1]

Hannah Griffeth died, apparently unmarried, on 24 Sep 1865, and she is buried at the Lakeside Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, with a joint gravestone with her brother, Stephen Griffeth, that identifies them as "Uncle" and "Aunt." Her age at her death shown on the gravestone is 63 years, 5 months. The FindAGrave memorial says that their stone is next to one for Capt. John and Mary Griffeth.^[2]
