On 5 Oct 1879, E.M. Grim was born to John W. Grim (born in Jefferson Twp) and Elizabeth Ott. ^[1]

On 4 Sep 1895, Jessi Grimm was born in Dover Township, Ohio, USA to John Grimm (born in York Township) and Elizabeth Ott (born in Stonecreek, Ohio). ^[2]

On 5 Jun 1900 at the time of the 1900 US Census, head of household John Grim (age 53, born in in Jun 1847 in OH) was employed as a Farmer and living in a farmhouse he owned with a mortgage in Dover Township, Tuscarawas, Ohio with his wife Elizabeth Grim (age 48, born in Sep 1852 in OH), son Thiodore N. Grim (age 21, born in Nov 1879 in OH), son Noah J. Grim (age 18, born in in Mar 1882 in OH), daughter Della E. Grim (age 12, born in Sep 1888 in OH), daughter Goldie E. Grim (age 10, born in Aug 1890 in OH), daughter Tolson C. Grim (age 9, born in Nov 1891 in OH), and daughter Jessie P. Grim (age 5, born in Sep 1895 in OH). On 9 May 1910 at the time of the 1910 US Census, head of household John Grimm (age 62, born in OH) was employed as a Coal Miner and living in a farmhouse that he owned free of mortgage in Dover, Tuscarawas, Ohio with his wife Elizabeth Grimm (age 57, born in OH), their daufhter Goldie Grimm (age 19, born in OH), daufhter Tolsom Grimm (age 17, born in OH), and daughter Jessie Grimm (age 14, born in OH). John and Elizabeth had been married for 40 years at the time of this census; Elizabeth had given birth to 10 children, 8 of whom were still alive at that time. John Grimm's father was born in Germany and his mother was born in Ohio; both of Elizabeth Grimm's parents were born in Ohio. ^[5]

Death and Legacy

In 1916 John W. Grimm died at an age of between 67 and 68 years). John was buried at Jerusalem Church Cemetery in New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, USA. ^[6]
