Biography

Andrew immigrated to Philadelphia in 1680.^[1] He married Sarah Dole 7 Feb 1685.^[2]

Andrew's will was dated July 4, 1694, and proven October 1 of the same year. His wife Sarah was named the sole executrix. The estate went to Sarah and their unnamed children. Legacies were included for mother Grizell Morriss and Sarah's brother John Dole. The property included an estate held in Germantown and a lot adjoining Joseph Brown's lot. Overseers: John Dole, Philip James and Joseph Willcox.^[3]

SARAH GRISCOM (c1693-bur.Aug 10 1773).^[6] A Quaker, remained single, in 1721/2 moved to Philadelphia PA,^[7][8] had a corset shop on Jones Alley between Front and 2nd, north of Market,^[9] and died in her early 80s.
