Ann was born about 1775, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Groves

Ann's parents were named in the birth registration at Dr Williams Library of her daughter Mary Ann Banks who was born on 17 June 1799 in St Dunstan's, St Stephen, Middlesex, England.^[1]

Ann married Abraham Banks (~1775 - ) on 16 June 1796 at Saint Dunstan and All Saints Church, Stepney, Middlesex, England^[2]
