Marie Elsie (Guillory) Pitts was born on 25 Aug 1914 in Chataignier, Evangeline, Louisiana, United States, daughter of William Decastile Guillory (abt. 1894–abt. 1935) and Velina (Fontenot) Guillory (1894–1938).

Elsie married Charles Alfred Pitts (born on 15 Sep 1912 in Carterville, Jasper, Missouri, United States).

In the 1940 census Elsie (age 25) was the wife of Charles A Pitts in Great Bend, Barton, Kansas.[1]

Elsie died on 29 Oct 1992 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, United States, aged 78.

Guillory-784 and Guillory-447 appear to represent the same person because: Same dates, but the spelling is wrong on one of these. Same mother. Same to-be-merged fathers. The spelling and the dates are off on the father without sources. The father has to be merged first.
