Vera Elaine (Gullison) Downey was born on February 19, 1915 in Stanley, York, New Brunswick, Canada. She was a hairdresser. Her parents were Benjamin F Gullison (1881 - 1965) and Effie Belle (White) Gullison (1887 - 1961).
Vera married Cleighton Percy Downey (1916 - 1981) on September 26, 1945 in Fredericton, York, NB.
Vera died on June 9, 2008 at Lincourt Manor in St. Stephen, Charlotte, New Brunswick aged 93. She is buried in Fredericton Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, New Brunswick.[1]
