Elizabeth Guttman was born in 1884 in Brunnental, Volga, Russia. She was the daughter of Johannes Guttman and Elisabeth Bretthauer.^[1]

She married Conrad E. Eckhardt in 1903 in Brunnental. They came to America in 1912 and settled in Windsor, Colorado. They moved to Billings, Montana in 1928.

Elizabeth Eckhardt passed away in 1966 and is buried in Billings, Montana.^[2]
