Biography
Barbara Haak was born August 19, 1771, a daughter of Jacob Haak and Margaretha Dubbs. The Will of Jacob Haak, probated February 9, 1820, in Maxatawny Township, Berks county, Pennsylvania names daughter Barbara, wife of George Sell [1] Barbara and George are found in the baptism records of their children, including:
- Magdalena Sell, baptized September 5, 1795, in Christ Lutheran Church of Dryville, Rockland Township, Berks county, Pennsylvania [2]
- Ana Sell, born January 27, 1797, and christened April 1, 1797, in Rockland Township, Berks county, Pennsylvania [3]
- Elisabeth Sell, born May 20, 1801 and christened September 27, 1801, in Bowers, Berks county, Pennsylvania [4]
- Judith Sell, baptized March 3, 1803, in Christ Lutheran Church of Dryville, Rockland Township, Berks county, Pennsylvania [5]
- Margaretha Sell, baptized October 26, 1811, in Christ Lutheran Church of Dryville, Rockland Township, Berks county, Pennsylvania [6]
