Niilo Haapalainen lived in Finland.

Niilo Haapalainen was born in 1908 in Suomi T ja PL.[1]

In 1932, Haapalainen lived in the Prääsä district where he was a forest worker.

He was arrested 3 February 1938 and sentenced 23 March 1938 under Article 58/10. Niilo Haapalainen was shot 3 April 1938 and buried in a mass grave in the Sandarmokh tract in the Medvezhiegorsk region of Karelia.[2]

"Haapalainen Niilo Heikinpoika, s. 1908 Suomi T ja PL, loik. 1932, as. Karjala Prääsän piiri Matroosa metsätyöläinen, vang. 3.2.1938, tuom. 23.3.1938 § 58/10, 11, amm. 3.4.1938 Karhumäessä, reh. 10.5.1958. Petroskoi."[3]
