Hannibal married Belle Shrout (born in Menifee). Their daughter was Eva Myrtle Hackney (1904–1994).
Hannibal died on Jun 4, 1950 in Middletown, Butler, Ohio, United States, aged 70. He was buried in Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum, Middletown, Butler County, Ohio.[1]
