Biography
John Hackney was born in Congleton in 1842 [1]
He married Mary Ellen Rowland in Hulme, St Michael, Manchester (Chorlton district), Lancashire on 19 September 1869 [2] [3], their fathers were recorded as Henry Hackney, a ribbon weaver, and James Rowland, a saddler [4]
John died in Congleton in 1873, aged 30 [5]
