Biography
John Goodyear was born in 1862. His birth was registered in Kidderminster and his mother's maiden name was Goodyear. [1]
In 1881 at the age of 17 John was living with sister Kate and parents William and Elizabeth in Kidderminster. He was a Hair Dresser. (His uncle Rollings Haddock (1817-1852) had been a hairdresser in Monmouth in 1852). [2]
No more direct details have been found but in 1918, 25 year old Annie Goodyear Haddock, daughter of John Goodyear Haddock married Harry Jones in Prestolee, Lancashire. She was living in Lytham Road, South Shore, Manchester and her father John was a hairdresser. [3]
