She met and married William Oliver Mawson in the winter of 1861-62 and they lived at Mill Creek. The marriage must have been extremely unsuccessful because it is known that Mary obtained a church divorce under authority of Brigham Young on March 9, 1862.[11]
She married her last husband William (Billy) Roberts about 1879.
Mary died at the age of 64 on July 27, 1885 in Bloomington, Bear Lake, Idaho and even though she was listed as Mary Haddock Roberts in her obituary, for some reason, her name was engraved as Mary Jackson on her gravestone.[12][13]
