Biography
Edwin R. Haddox, 73 of Florence, KY (formerly from Charleston, WV) passed away on Sunday, October 30 2016 with his family by his side. Ed is preceded in death by his father Carl Lee, his mother Maude (Price), his brothers Kenneth (Shirley), Bernard (Lou), sister Doris (Kirby). Ed leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years Elaina (Carwithen), 5 children Carolyn (Cavella), Mark (Barb), Rick, Greg, & Brian. Sister Mildred (Dallas Keith) of Florida. Grandfather to 11, great-grandfather to 17. Ed was an avid outdoorsman, UK Wildcat Basketball fan, a WVU football fan but most of all a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Ed retired from the Cincinnati Enquirer after 39 years. He was a member of the Florence Church of the Nazarene.
