Research notes

There is no evidence that Gustav Gustavsson was ever called Hagberg. Don't know where that information comes from.

About the name Hagberg. In the death record of the daughter Maria of Gustaf Svensson [4] the name is noted to him, that´s the only place. The son Peter and his descendants is using it, but no sign that the other children adopted it has been found.

Gustafsdotter means "the daughter of Gustaf". Males never used -dotter-names.
