Homer Haggan Sr was Wounded in Action during World War I.

Homer Haggan was born on July 11, 1890 in Malahide, Elgin, Ontario Canada to James Craig Haggan and Florence Hill. He served in the Canadian Army about the same time as his brother Harold.

After he returned from the war, he married Betty Clark. They later flew to Scotland to adopt Betty's sister's son. They named him Homer, also.

400601 Private. Enlisted January 1915.
Served in Canada 6th Field Company, Royal Engineers, and 33rd Battalion; England 12th Reserve; France 75th Battalion and with the Army of Occupation. Battles: Mount Sorrel, Somme, Vimy Ridge, Amiens, Arras.
Wounded at Mount Sorrel.
Discharged May 1919.
