William was born Apr 1817. He was the son of William Haggard and Elizabeth Meybohm.
He was a magistrate in Norfolk and friend of James Bennett. He was instrumental in helping James' daughter Harriett prove paternity in a 1870 case, Bennett v. Chamberlayne.
He passed away on 21 Apr 1893 in West Bradenham and was buried at St Andrew's church[1].
