Biography
Elizabeth was born in Cadiz Spain and her family were a part of the "Griffiths Party", who were early colonialist settlers of South Africa, originating in Glenmoran, Wales and was a British Subject. Records show that she was a niece of Benjamin Powell from the group. She married in South Africa and after returning to England and after living in the Channel Islands with her young family, migrated to Victoria Australia with her family.
