Posted by dadavis@<email address removed> TEXT: Sullivans Hollow is the area as follows; Mize to Mt Olive to Hot Coffee. This is more or less a triangle. It also included the area known as Merry Hell near Saratoga. I am a descendant of the Halls from Merry Hell which married into the Sullivans. This area is in parts of Covington, Simpson and Smith Co's. My Uncle Bud Hall married Mary Sullivan, daughter of Big John Sullivan. Bud Hall was killed by Tommy Sullivan, his wife's brother. Big John's second wife was Bud Hall's sister. Several of my cousins married Sullivans.
