Biography
This profile is part of the Hall Name Study.
Marguerite was born about 1850.
Her parents married in Newcastle England. Jane was born in the Bay of Biscay on their Voyage to Australia. Mr Hall died in the gold fields of Ballarat. Mrs Hall returned to England with her daughter. On the way back she met a Mr George Searle whom she married in England. They returned to Australia and settled on a farm in Geelong Victoria. Her daughter stayed with her Grandmother in England. The Searle's had a family of seven children. Jane returned to Australia at the age of 16 years. She lived with her mother and stepfather. At the age of 23 years she married John Cameron. Birth date 1852.
