Biography

Jeane was born in 1805. She is the daughter of James Hall and Margaret Tinnock. ^[1]

Jean married William McConnel in 1830 ^[2]

They had the following children:

• David McConnell (1834), James McConnell (1836), Janet Hodgen McConnel (1840), David McConnel (1841), William McConnell (1845), Margaret Tinnock McConnell (1847),

Research Notes

Their children were baptised in Cathcart Street Church (which is the same place that the children of Charles Hall and Matthew Hall were baptised (Even though the families all reside in different parishes at the time, they appear to have retained links to this Church).

Note that in the childrens records Jean(e) is sometimes recorded as Jane.

One of her children carries the name Tinnock thus supporting links to Margaret (Tinnock) Hall
