Plummer Fitch Hall served as a Corporal in the Pennsylvania 140th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Company E, during the Civil War. He enlisted on 22 August 1862, was promoted to Corporal on 12 December 1864, and mustered out with Company 31 May 1865.[3]
