Biography

Phebe Margery Hall was born on 4 April 1817 in Rumney, Grafton, New Hampshire, United States, daughter of Edward Hall (1789–1870) and Margery Harrison (1791– ).[1][2]

Phebe and Arthur Webster Marston were married on 12 November 1840 in Plymouth, Grafton.[3] They settled in Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, where they had four children. Three died in infancy, their surviving daughter Arianna Mary was born in about 1841.[4] Arthur died in 1848.[5]

Phebe and William E Rounsefell were married between 7 July 1849 and 11 July 1851 in Manchester, Hillsborough.[6] Their children were:

  1. unnamed daughter (1851-1851)[7]
  2. Wilhelmina Rounsefell (1855–1917)
  3. William E Rounsefell (1857–1922)

Phebe died on 8 November 1901 in Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, aged 84.[8]
