Hannah Hall was born in 1795. She was formerly enslaved by Judge John Hall.
In the 1870 US Census, Hannah is recorded as 75 years of age, and a midwife living in the household of Ned Turner (58), a farm laborer, and his family.
Hannah died in 1873 and is buried on the premises of her former slave owner, Judge John Hall. While it's not known the exact location of any of these burials it's documented that Hannah is buried on the premises. A headstone was placed in honor of Hannah by her descendants and the Hall Family Cemetery has been cleaned by these descendants.
