Thomas George Halls was born in 1869, at Majorca, Victoria, Australia. He was the son of Thomas Halls (1837-1904) and Julia Emma Wood (1848-1928).

Thomas married Mabel Isabel Hawkes, nee Williams (1873-1962) in 1945, at Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia.^[1]

He passed away on 28 September 1959, at Manly, New South Wales, Australia.^[2] Thomas is buried at Frenchs Forest Lawn Cemetery, Davidson, New South Wales, Australia.^[3]
