Biography

Daniel Robbins Hamblin was born at Toolleen, Victoria during 1874 to parents Joseph Thomas Hamblin & Fanny Robbins.[1]

Daniel Hamblin married Charlotte Bowen at the bride's parent's residence in Ganmain, New South Wales on 23 March 1897.[2][3] They had the following children:

  1. Herbert Robbins Hamblin, born 1898 at Wagga[4]
  2. Unnamed female Hamblin, born 1899 at Narrandera[5]
  3. Lillas Beryl Hamblin, born 1915 at Narrandera[6]

His wife Charlotte died in 1934.[7][8]

Daniel Hamblin remarried to Isabella Elizabeth Myles in the Coolamon district during 1941.[9]

Daniel died at Gundagai District Hospital on 5 February 1952 after being in a fatal car crash with his wife Isabella Elizabeth Hamblin. They had been living at 26 Simmons Street, Wagga.[10][11][12][13]
