Biography
Hazel lived her entire life on Kelleys Island. Hazel had four brothers and one sister. Hazel's sister, Florence, died in infancy. Her parents were James and Catherine Hamilton. Hazel never married and lived with her brother, Howard, a bachelor, during her adult life.
Like her father, Hazel served as Postmaster for Kelleys Island.
