Biography

Gabriel Hamilton (also spelled Hambleton) was the son of David Hamilton and Anna (Jackson) Hamilton and was probably born at Saco, Maine about 1668. In the list of his parents' children, the Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire lists him just after their son Solomon, who was born in 1666,^[1]

Gabriel Hamilton bought land in Berwick, Maine, in March 1702/03.^[1]

Gabriel Hamilton made his will on 22 Sep 1729.^[1] Administration on his estate was granted to his wife, Judith, on 6 Apr 1730.^[2]
