Biography

Emily was born 20 November 1884 in Mount Pleasant, Charleston County, South Carolina.^[1] She was the daughter of Thomas John Hamlin and Mary Eliza Royall.

She married Langdon Cheves King circa 1910, probably in Charleston County, South Carolina.^[2]

Emily died on 7 September 1948 in Charleston,^[3] and she is buried in Mount Pleasant in Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.^[4]
