Sarah "Sally" Hancock is the daughter of Clement Hancock I and Anthany Pennington. Sarah married Major John Trippe. [1] Children of Sarah Hancock and John Trippe include:
- Sarah "Sally" Trippe, born circa 1780, died in 1820, in Jones county, Georgia, married Jesse McKinnie Pope, Jr. 1765-1824 [2]
- Lyddae/Lydia Trippe, born circa 1776, died 1841, in Mississippi, married Allen Pope [3]
- Mary Trippe Pope, born 1779, in Georgia, died in August 1840, in Georgia, married Cullen Pope 1762-1820 [4] Note: her Find A Grave memorial indicates that she was born in Hancock county, Georgia, but that county was created in 1793
- Ann Trippe, married Hugh Moss Comer
- John Trippe, married Nancy Jones
- Henry Trippe, named in her husband's Will
