When Milton Laadan Hankins was born on 27 December 1818, in Virginia, United States, his father, Joseph Hankins, was 39 and his mother, Nancy Mitchell, was 38.[1]
He married Martha Elizabeth "Patsy" Webb on 22 November 1840, in Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[2]
They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 6 daughters.[3]
In 1850, Milton and Martha lived in Jeffersonville, Tazewell, Virginia, United States with four (4) children.[4]
In 1860, they lived in Western District, Tazewell, Virginia, United States with eight (8) children.[5]
They lived in Jeffersonville, Tazewell, Virginia, United States in 1870[6] and Jeffersonville, Tazewell, Virginia, United States in 1880.[7]
He died on 2 January 1889, in Tazewell, Virginia, United States, at the age of 70, and was buried in Hankins Cemetery, Busthead, Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[8]
